Belgium announced their preliminary Euro 2016 squad on the 12th of May. With Belgium currently having 24 players' names on the list, one unlucky individual is going to miss the trip to France as the maximum squad size allowed is 23 players. The finalized squads must be announced before the end of May.

Top of the FIFA-rankings at the turn of the year, Belgium are going to France as one of the tournament's favourites with a strong squad. The Red Devils are especially adept in front of goal, as they boast eight strikers who are all great individual players. Out of the squad as many as 11 players have an important role at a Premier League club.

The only player Belgium will be missing in the summer is captain Vincent Kompany. The skipper suffered yet another injury in the Champions League semi-final for City against Real Madrid, meaning that the armband will be worn by Eden Hazard at the Euros.
