We were completely wrong for England's match in terms of our tips, but luckily the Russia - Wales match made up for it and more, as all of our tips ** Wales 103/50, *** over 1.5 goals 11/20 and Gareth Bale to score 3/2 all brought us wins! Tuesday has as many as four games, so it promises to be an interesting day in terms of betting!

After their slightly shy performance in their opening game against Poland, Northern Ireland surprised us all with a fantastic 2-0 win over Ukraine. Now the small country is close to complete quite a feat, as before the last round of fixtures Northern Ireland are ranked first out of the third-placed teams in the groups. The three points they've collected might not be enough for a place in the knockout stages, but if they manage to steal even a point from Germany that achievement will all but be secured.

As ridiculous as it might sound, Northern Ireland have a chance to claim points from even strong countries like Germany. The team has already shown that their defence isn't easily penetrated. In their match against Ukraine the Irish were much bolder on the ball than previously, leading to the crucial opening goal. However, against Germany they'll have to defend even deeper, meaning that they will have even fewer opportunities to score.

On Germany's side the big issue is their lack of ruthlessness in front of goal. The reigning world champions were held to a goalless draw against Poland, and neither the German press or the fans were content. Germany's first-choice striker Mario Götze has failed to find form in either match, and even Thomas Müller has struggled to find his usually clinical goal-scoring touch of tournaments past. The same invisibility has also seemed to plague winger Julian Draxler. Now the Germans have a chance to have a 90-minute attacking drill, but as many teams have shown at Euro 2016, a resilient defence can be hard to break down.

The importance of the opening goal in this match is huge. Northern Ireland will try to keep the score at 0-0 for as long as they can, trying to hit the Germans with fast breaks and counter-attacks. If they somehow manage this, Germany are in for a tough time. Manuel Neuer hasn't conceded at Euro 2016 so far, so it's hard to believe that the Irish would be the first to beat him. Unless Northern Ireland's defence completely collapses it's hard to predict a high-scoring match.

Northern Ireland's last matches:

16.6.2016 Ukraine - Northern Ireland 0-2 (Euro 2016)

12.6.2016 Poland - Northern Ireland 1-0 (Euro 2016)

4.6.2016 Slovakia - Northern Ireland 0-0 (Friendly)

27.5.2016 Northern Ireland - Belarus 3-0 (Friendly)

Germany's last matches:

16.6.2016 Germany - Poland 0-0 (Euro 2016)

12.6.2016 Germany - Ukraine 2-0 (Euro 2016)

4.6.2016 Germany - Hungary 2-0 (Friendly)

29.5.2016 Germany - Slovakia 1-3 (Friendly)

The odds don't favour the bettor in this match. Germany will most likely be able to keep a clean sheet and attack more clinically than in France so far. A 2-0 or 3-0 win for Germany is the most likely result, so let's go for a bet that wins with a result like this.

* Germany to win without conceding 73/100 Betway

Ukraine crumbled completely against Northern Ireland, and the 2-0 defeat ensured that they'll finish bottom of Group C and are thus out of the tournament for sure. Even a victory against Poland isn't enough for the Ukrainians, so they have nothing to play for except pride. In their opening match against Germany the Ukrainians showed glimpses of form, forcing the German defence and Manuel Neuer to give it their best. However, they seemed to leave all that behind them against Northern Ireland, failing to break the Irish down despite having 65% of possession. Now they face an opponent of a completely different calibre, and it wouldn't be a surprise if the meaningless nature of the match didn't show in their performance.

Meanwhile, Poland are still well in the race for first place in Group C, as they come into the match level on four points with Germany. They succeeded in nullifying Germany in the last match, which serves to show just how good this Poland team is. Four points will most likely be enough for a spot in the knockout stages, but Adam Nawalka's men won't change their hard-working style and will go for the win.

Despite that fantastic performance against the Germany the Poles can still improve on a lot of grounds, and this match serves as a perfect opportunity to do just that. Poland's number one star Robert Lewandowski has failed to find the net at Euro 2016 so far, meaning that he'll be extremely hungry for a goal. His strike-partner Arkadiusz Milik has been blessed with a lot more scoring opportunities, but the Ajax-man has still only managed to score once. Now both players have a fantastic chance to find their shooting boots.

Ukraine's last matches:

16.6.2016 Ukraine - Northern Ireland 0-2 (Euro 2016)

12.6.2016 Germany - Ukraine 2-0 (Euro 2016)

3.6.2016 Albania - Ukraine 1-3 (Friendly)

29.5.2016 Romania - Ukraine 3-4 (Friendly)

Poland's last matches:

16.6.2016 Germany - Poland 0-0 (Euro 2016)

12.6.2016 Poland - Northern Ireland 1-0 (Euro 2016)

6.6.2016 Poland - Lithuania 0-0 (Friendly)

1.6.2016 Poland - The Netherlands 1-2 (Friendly)

Poland are the clear favourites for the win - there's no doubting that. The odds for a Polish success are surprisingly good and a bigger bet than usual is recommendable!

20:00 Croatia - Spain

The match against The Czech Republic was disappointing for Croatia in more ways than one. Foremost, the Croatians lost a secure-looking 2-0 lead to draw 2-2, and now the team need at least a point against reigning European champions Spain to be sure of a place in the knockout stages. The other disappointing factor was their fans behaviour, who decided to dent their country's image and team's chances at the Euros by throwing flares on the pitch in the match against the Czechs. The game was forced to be stopped for a couple of minutes, leading to the late Czech resurgence. Croatia's star man Ivan Rakitic claimed that the fans' foolish acts was the main factor in their collapse.

That wasn't even all of Croatia's woes, as playmaker Luka Modric was forced to be substituted in the 62nd minute, and his involvement against Spain is a severe doubt. Croatia have one of the strongest midfields in the tournament, but his absence would still be a big miss against a side of Spain's calibre.

Croatia have been very strong at times in both of their matches so far, but Spain have also shown their quality. They were a bit groggy in their opening match against the Czechs, but the 3-0 victory of a lacklustre Turkey was a fantastic example of their ability going forward. It was also crucial for Spain that first-timers at a major tournament like Nolito and Alvaro Morata had good performances. Nolito recorded a goal and an assist, while Morata scored his country's other two goals. The two spaniards' confidence must be sky-high right now. Two wins have meant that Spain have already secured their spot in the knockout stages, and now the team only need a draw to make sure of the top spot in Group D.

Despite strong showings from their forwards, the man of the match against Turkey was without a doubt their midfield maestro Andrés Iniesta, who was once again brilliant. So far at Euro 2016 only Dimitri Payet can be spoken of in the same sentence as Iniesta, and he has been the main factor in their strong performances on the ball. However, this time out he will face one of the strongest midfields in the tournament, which promises to be an interesting "duel". Croatia will have their fingers crossed over the fitness of Real-star Modric, otherwise their midfield is severely hampered.

4.6.2016 Croatia - San Marino 10-0 (Friendly)

27.5.2016 Croatia - Moldova 1-0 (Friendly)

Spain's last matches:

17.6.2016 Spain - Turkey 3-0 (Euro 2016)

13.6.2016 Spain - The Czech Republic 1-0 (Euro 2016)

7.6.2016 Spain - Georgia 0-1 (Friendly)

1.6.2016 Spain - South Korea 6-1 (Friendly)

29.5.2016 Spain - Bosnia & Hertzegovina 3-1 (Friendly)

Spain tasted blood against Turkey and come into the last match of the group stages pressure-free. Meanwhile, there are a lot of doubts about Croatia. With odds above evens Spain are a rather nice addition to Tuesday's betting plans.

The Czech Republic don't have the star-studded squad of years past, but boy how they've performed. They were close to springing one of the surprises of the tournament against Spain, but they fell a couple of minutes short in that defensive battle. Against Croatia they showed great spirit in clawing back to 2-2 from a 2-0 deficit, as Tomas Necid sank Croatian hearts from the penalty spot in the 94th minute. Although they've only picked up one point so far, a victory over a below-par Turkey side would most likely be enough for a place in the knockout stages among the best third-placed teams.

The stakes are high. A win for Turkey would lift them up to third in their group, but three points won't necessarily be enough in comparison to the other third-placed sides in the groups. The situation is dire for the Fatih Terim's men, as there have been all kinds of rumours about the squad being divided on a lot of subjects. For example, superstar Arda Turan has been rumoured to be so discontent with manager Terim that he's prepared to go home early. Their problems off the pitch have shown on it, and Turkey's performances have been void of their usual fire. As the Czechs are still in the hunt of a place in the knockout stages Turkey could be in for another torrid 90 minutes.

The Czechs and Turkey reached the finals from the same qualifying group, so the teams have faced each other a lot recently. Both of the qualifying clashes finished as wins for the away team, as first the Czechs triumphed 1-2 on Turkish soil, followed by a 0-2 win for Turkey in the second match. However, in this tournament Turkey have been poor and there doesn't seem to be a magic word that could sort the squad out on such short notice. If Turkey start badly, tempers could start to flare.

29.5.2016 Turkey - Montenegro 1-0 (Friendly)

22.5.2016 England - Turkey 2-1 (Friendly)

The Czechs are capable of being a free-scoring side, just as the match against Croatia showed. Now that will be highlighted even further, as they'll be looking for a victory from the start against Turkey. This leaves them vulnerable defensively and Turkey will also get chances. This means goals can be expected and overs are the order of the day for this match!
