Monday night brings friends of the Premier League a real treat, as Liverpool and Manchester United face up to each other at Anfield

Winner of last month's Manager of the Month award, Jürgen Klopp has really brought Liverpool to life this season. After the surprising 2-0 defeat to Burnley in the second game of the season Liverpool haven't lost a single time, with seven games bringing them an impressive six wins and a draw. The only draw came away against high-flying Tottenham. Liverpool are one of the hottest teams in the country, as their run has seen them beat the likes of Leicester and Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Manchester United also took last season's champions Leicester apart 4-1 at Old Trafford. However, before that the Red Devils had struggled slightly. First they only barely managed to dispatch Ukrainian minnows Zorya 1-0, while that game was followed by a 1-1 draw at home against Stoke. Although United are undefeated in their last four, only the Leicester game showed signs of improvement.

Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum are doubts for Liverpool. Lallana injured himself before the international break and missed England's two matches, while Wijnaldum suffered a hip injury while playing for the Netherlands. Dejan Lovren and Nathaniel Clyne are both fit after sitting out the international break.

For United both Luke Shaw and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are fit for Monday night, which is good news for United manager Jose Mourinho. The only absentee for the away team on Monday is Phil Jones, who is out with a long-term knee injury.

Liverpool have been incredibly strong in their recent matches, and their attacking in particular has been pleasing to the eye. Klopp's men are coming into Monday's match as favourites, and the odds for a home win are very good.

In the last nine matches between the two sides both teams have found the net a staggering eight times. This season as well both teams have strong attacks, while both have struggled defensively on occasions.
