The Premier League's "Super Sunday" offers football fans across the globe four fixtures, with the top of the table clash between Tottenham and Manchester City included!

Without a doubt the game of the round. League leaders Manchester City travel to White Hart Lane after their insane 3-3 draw in Glasgow against Celtic. Although Pep Guardiola did claim victory in the derby earlier this season, this will be his first proper test in the Premier League, that is how far Spurs have come in the past couple of seasons.

Spurs are undefeated in the Premier League this season, with their six games having brought them four wins and two draws. Those draws came against early season pace setters Everton and Liverpool, so you can't call them bad results. However, Spurs haven't been at their absolute best this campaign, as they have seem to have done the bare minimum to collect all three points in their other matches. Three of their four wins have come with a margin of just a single goal.

Defence has been Spurs' strength this season, as in their nine competitive matches this season they have only conceded five goals, and two of those goals came in the Champions League opener against Monaco. That marks the only time Mauricio Pochettino's men have given up more than a single goal in a game!

Manchester City will be a stern test of their defensive resilience, as Guardiola's team has lit up the Premier League with some scintillating displays of attacking football. City have struck 18 times in six matches, an impressive three goals per game! City continued their form going forward midweek against Celtic, but three 3-3 draw showcased that there are still weaknesses to be taken advantage of in Guardiola's blueprint.

City's defending has so far been good enough in the Premier League, but in Scotland they were found lacking on multiple occasions. Although Spurs will be without star striker Harry Kane, the in-form Heung-Min Son has shown that he has what it takes to be an adequate replacement. City can not afford to switch off like they did on Wednesday.

Kevin de Bruyne's injury is a huge source of woe for City, and he won't be making appearance on Sunday. Although City are blessed with attacking talent, the impact of not having one of the Premier Leagues biggest talents on the pitch cannot be overstated. City will also be without Spanish winger Nolito, who is serving a suspension.

Pochettino was without Eric Dier, Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele in the mid-week UCL-match against CSKA Moscow, but all three might be available come Sunday. This would be huge for Spurs, as they will need all the help they can get to achieve a result against the league leaders.

Out of the six matches Spurs have played there have been more than 2.5 goals scored only twice. Those came in the 4-0 thrashing against Stoke and the 1-2 away win at Middlesborough. Pochettino's defence has what it takes to keep the goal total low, even against a team of City's calibre.

However, City have been on fire going forward all season, and although they haven't yet come up against a strong defence like Spurs have, it's hard to imagine them being shut out completely. The same can be said about Tottenham, as the Lilywhites last finished without a goal in the Europa League match against Dortmund in March.

Both teams to score: 33/50 (Fastbet)

Final result - X (draw) 13/5 (Betsson)

An interesting fact to note is that the UCL clash against CSKA marked the sixth time Spurs have won with a goal in the second half after a goalless first. Meanwhile, City have been scoring for fun in the first half, like they did in the Manchester derby.

A goal to be scored in both halves of the match - Yes: 61/100 (Unibet / Leovegas)

Heung-Min Son has been the leading light of this Spurs team this season, as the South Korean has been responsible for two of their last three goals. Son has managed an impressive five goals in just five games this season!

However, City's own star striker Sergio Agüero should never be underestimated. The Argentine didn't find the back of the net against Celtic, but last weekend he got two away at Swansea. Spurs have been pleasant opponents for City's talisman, as he has managed a staggering nine goals against them in just eight games.

To score whenever in the match: Heung-Min Son: 23/10 (Betsafe / Betsson / Unibet / LeoVegas)

To score whenever in the match: Sergio Agüero 5/4 (Unibet / LeoVegas)
