After the Champions League fixtures we are treated to a five-match round of Premier League matches. After their fantastic win over Barcelona on Tuesday, Manchester City have visitors from Middlesbrough. The evening concludes with the clash between Chelsea and Everton at Stamford Bridge.

We at TurtleBet UK have taken a closer look at both matches

Pep Guardiola was faced with a new situation at Manchester City, as the manager who had gone from victory to victory saw his team go six matches without a win. City's performances during that run weren't very impressive at all, but all that is a thing of the past in Manchester today.

City returned back to winning ways a week ago in the league with a 0-4 victory away at West Bromwich. That form continued in the Champions League, as just two weeks after they destroyed 4-0 at the Camp Nou City returned the favour with a 3-1 scoreline. After a barren spell City are again looking like the team that would run away with the title.

Middlesbrough aren't at Barcelona's level, but they should nevertheless not be underestimated. 'Boro have also found some form recently, beating a strong Bournemouth side 2-0, while they also managed to pick up a point at the Emirates thanks to a goalless draw.

Nullifying an in-form Arsenal at their home ground is no mean feat, and they remain the only side to do so this season.

City are naturally big favourites on Saturday, nobody can argue with that. However, their visitors have displayed some impressive performances recently, especially in terms of defending. Two clean sheets in a row indicates that this will not be a runaway win for City.

City's weaknesses this season have been in their own end, and Guardiola's men have kept only one clean sheet in their last 10 matches, amassing only two of them all season. Meanwhile, despite their position in the table Middlesbrough have kept clean sheets against the likes of high-flying Tottenham and Everton.

- Home team to win and both teams to score, Yes: 9/5 (Unibet / LeoVegas)

Both teams to score, Yes: 6/5 (Fastbet / Bet365)

If you don't think 'Boro can challenge City at the Etihad, a good option for you is for City to lead at both half-time and at the end of the match. In City's seven league victories this season they have led at half-time in six of them.

Half-time/Final result - 1/1 : 67/100 (Bet365)

In terms of betting on the goalscorers you should turn your gaze to Ilkay Gündogan, who scored twice against both West Brom and Barcelona. Gündogan has been one of City's most impressive players in recent weeks, and he has also picked up two assists in his last two games.

To score at any time in the match - Ilkay Gündogan: 59/20 (Unibet / LeoVegas)

Chelsea's and Everton's season's have gone in similar fashion to Manchester City's. Both sides started the campaign strongly under new managers, but after that both have struggled. However, recently their fortunes have seemed to be turning.

Chelsea have been the more impressive out of the two, as Antonio Conte's men are on a four-game winning streak, during which they haven't conceded a single goal! During those four matches the Blues have scored 11 goals, which is quite the achievement considering they have played the likes of Manchester United, Leicester and Southampton.

Meanwhile, Everton only managed to turn their negative tide last weekend with a 2-0 win over a struggling West Ham side. Before that the Toffees had gone five competitive matches without a victory, so the win will have gone a long way in boosting morale at Goodison Park.

Chelsea have been in form for longer, so they are clear favourites for the win, especially at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have been the best team at home in the league this season, as they have won all of their games with a goal difference of 13-3. In their last two games at the Bridge they demolished Manchester United and Leicester, although they opponents on Saturday are currently at a slightly higher level.

This match sees two of the best defenses in the league go up against each other, as Everton (8) have let in the second least goals in the league, while Chelsea (9) are just one worse. Everton have played out 1-1 draws against both Manchester City and Tottenham, which shows that they have what it takes to nullify superior teams.

Both teams not to score: 23/20 (Unibet / LeoVegas)

Leading the Premier League goal charts with eight goals, Diego Costa is the most likely name to score again. The Spanish striker has been a troublesome opponent for the Toffees, as he has three goals in just four matches against them.

When you count all of Costa's games this season he has 11 goals after 15 games. In-form indeed.

To score at any time in the match - Diego Costa: 9/10 (Fastbet / Bethard)

To score the first goal in the match - Diego Costa: 67/20 (Fastbet / Bethard)
